Zayd Siddique
Primary Head Boy
I am Zayd, and being chosen as Head Boy is something I am genuinely happy about. It's a role I have wanted to take on, so finding out that I had been given the opportunity was a moment I definitely won't forget.
I have always thought that the best part of being involved in school is being able to make a difference, even in small ways. Over the years, I have seen students take on leadership positions and make the most of them, and it made me want to step up and do the same.
I know being Head Boy comes with expectations, but I also think it should be something you enjoy. I want to be involved, help where I can, and be someone students know they can approach without feeling like they have to think twice about it.
I am not going to promise I can fix everything, but I can promise that I will listen. If students have ideas, concerns, or things they want to see change, I want to hear them. I think the best way to represent people is to actually understand what they want.
Most importantly, I want to make the most of this year. There is a lot ahead of us, and I am looking forward to being a part of it—the events, the challenges, and everything in between.
