Mariyah Fatimah

My name is Mariyah Fatima, Academically, I hold both a Master’s and bachelor’s degree in education and have authored six mathematics books, contributing to learning resources that support students and teachers alike. I am also a distinction holder in CITTC/CIE, the teacher training course from Cambridge University, which further enhanced my skills in effective teaching and leadership.

Since 2008, I have been a part of GEMS Education and since 2014, a proud member of CIS. Over these years, I have grown not only as an educator but also as a compassionate and thoughtful individual, and I currently serve as an Instructional Coach and Teaching and Learning Lead, guiding both teachers and students toward greater success.

Being an educator has been one of my greatest life choices. It has given me the platform not only to teach and guide, but also to inspire, innovate, and make a lasting difference in students’ lives. My passion lies in blending creativity with pedagogy, ensuring that teaching remains both meaningful and inspiring.

Outside of my educational work, I enjoy painting, finding joy and expression through colors much like the creativity I bring to my classroom.
