Rini Praseeth
Deputy Head of Secondary
As an Educator, throughout my career, has engraved deep valuable chapters in my life leading with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and firmly believe that I was blessed to make a meaningful impact in hundreds of young minds. Academically, I have completed my Bachelor degree in the Science stream, followed by a Master in Computer Applications, and qualification in Education and Training. Always considered the opportunities as a blissful destiny to be a helping hand for aspiring young students and when those are echoed back from students that those orientations helped them navigate crucial periods of their student life, placing them in a promising trajectory of life.
Spending over two decades in education and of that more than a decade at Cambridge International School, Dubai, which was fostered with pastoral leadership, academic guidance, and expertise in ICT & Computer Science. In the past decade, I carried out pastoral leadership roles, serving as Head of Year in 2 different Key stages, and finally in Post 16. Professionally, I have always focused on student wellbeing, safeguarding, academic progress, career and pathway guidance, parent engagement, and data-informed interventions, always with a strong emphasis on nurturing and guiding the student in holistic manner.
Alongside pastoral leadership, as an academic educator I have been schooling ICT and Computer Science students across IGCSE, and AS/A Level. Utilized every opportunity to lead key events of school and initiatives bringing together students, staff, parents, and broader student lead school teams.
As Deputy Head of Secondary, look forward to working alongside our students, staff, and families to build and reinforce our school community and create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired to do their best. In my current role, strongly aspire to bring a leadership approach that is caring yet purposeful, positive yet reflective, and most importantly, impactful journey as a guiding partner for students and help them strive towards an accomplished and purposeful life.
