Laura Dobbs

I am excited to be joining Cambridge International School as Associate Head of Primary. Originally from a small village in South Wales, I graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2007 with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and have also achieved the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).

With 19 years of experience in education, including the past 16 years in Dubai, I have held a range of leadership roles focused on improving teaching and learning, developing an engaging curriculum, and creating inclusive environments where every child can succeed. I am passionate about supporting both pupils and staff to achieve their full potential and believe that strong relationships with children, families and colleagues are at the heart of every successful school.

My philosophy is that every child deserves to feel valued, supported and appropriately challenged to achieve their full potential and that they learn best when they feel safe, happy and inspired.

I am looking forward to becoming part of the CIS community and building on the excellent work already taking place.
