Head of Physical Education
My name is Sri Vani Pechetti, and I have been a proud member of the Cambridge International School community for the past 25 years. I hold a Master’s degree in Physical Education, B.P.Ed., BSc (Hons) in Sports Science, and a qualification in Physiotherapy.
As a passionate sportswoman, I have represented India at national level in athletics, cricket and judo. Growing up in an Indian Air Force family instilled in me strong values of discipline, dedication, teamwork and respect, which continue to shape my professional approach.
I believe that every child is unique and has the potential to thrive. My philosophy is that education extends beyond academic achievement, and that Physical Education, sport and co-curricular opportunities play an important role in developing confident, resilient and well-rounded young people.
At CIS, I am passionate about creating a positive sporting environment where every student is encouraged to participate, develop their skills and reach their potential.
