Sumera Kenneth

I am Sumera Kenneth, the proud Primary Science Curriculum Leader at CIS Dubai. I feel privileged to work with such a dedicated and inspiring team of practitioners who strive every day to provide our students with meaningful and engaging learning opportunities. Our curious, enthusiastic, and creative learners are my greatest motivation, reminding me why Science education is such a powerful force for discovery and growth.

At CIS, my journey began as a Learning Manager, before progressing to Head of Year 5, and now serving as Primary Science Curriculum Leader. This pathway has given me a strong foundation in both pastoral and academic leadership, allowing me to shape a curriculum that not only raises attainment but also supports the personal growth and well-being of every child with over 20 years of experience in education, including 12 years in the UAE, I bring both depth of knowledge and a global perspective to my role. I have completed my NPQSL and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and I am passionate, hardworking, and dedicated to raising standards, strengthening teacher collaboration, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning in every student.
