Mariyah Fatimah

I am Mariyah Fatima — an educator whose journey is rooted in Science, creativity, and a passion for meaningful teaching.

My academic background began with a graduation in Science, followed by a B.Ed. with a specialization in Science teaching methodology, along with a Master's degree. I have also authored six mathematics books, contributing to learning resources that support both students and teachers. Additionally, I am a distinction holder in CITTC (Cambridge International Teacher Training Certificate) from CIE, which further enhanced my skills in effective teaching and leadership.

Since 2008, I have been a part of GEMS Education, and since 2014, a proud member of CIS. Over these years, I have grown not only as an educator but also as a compassionate and thoughtful individual. On the professional front, I have experience working as a Teaching and Learning Lead for one year, and I am currently serving as Science Faculty Leader – Primary and Instructional Coach, guiding both teachers and students toward greater success.

Being an educator has been one of the greatest choices of my life. It has given me the platform not only to teach and guide, but also to inspire, innovate, and make a lasting difference in students' lives. My passion lies in blending creativity with pedagogy, ensuring that teaching remains both meaningful and inspiring.

Outside of my educational work, I enjoy painting, finding joy and expression through colors — much like the creativity I bring to my classroom
