The University of Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards
Over the last three years 3 students from Cambridge International School, Dubai, Topped the World while 18 topped the UAE in the IGCSE and A/AS level examinations. They received The University of Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards for their achievements.
2018-2019 Results:
IGCSE
•42% of student entries obtained were A*/A
•71% of our students gained A*/B
•87% of our students gained A*/C
•84% of our students gained 5 A*/C
•The overall pass rate at Cambridge International was 99%
AS Level
•35% obtained A, the highest grade
•50% of students achieved A - B.
•The overall pass rate at Cambridge International was 84%, 60 % of entries were graded A-C
A Level
•14% of student entries obtained A*, as compared to the UK National Average of 7.7%
•33 % of student entries obtained A*-A, as compared to the UK National Average of 25.5%
•Of the 116 students who have taken three or more A level exams, 23% of these students achieved 3 A*-A
•54% of students achieved A* - B, while 77% achieved A*-C
•The overall pass rate at Cambridge International was 98%
2017-2018 Results:
IGCSE
- 45.5 % of student entries obtained were A*/A
- 67 % of our students gained straight A*/B
- 83 % of our students gained A*/C
- 71 % of our students gained 5 A*/C
AS Level
- 24 % of student entries obtained A
- 42 % of students achieved A - B
- The overall pass rate at Cambridge International was 84.5 %, 60 % of entries graded A-C
A Level
- 31.1 % of student entries obtained A*-A, as compared to the UK National Average of 26 % last year
- Of the students who have taken three or more A level exams, 19.2 % of these students achieved 3 A*-A
- 54 % of students achieved A* - B, while again 53 % of their peers in England achieved the same last year
- The overall pass rate at Cambridge International was 98 %, 79.7 % of entries graded A*-C

- 13.61 % of our students gained straight A*/A
- 70 % of our students gained 5 A*/C
AS Level
- 24.2 % of student entries obtained A
- 41.4 % of students achieved A - B
- The overall pass rate at Cambridge International was 90.7 %, 60.2 % of entries graded A-C
A Level
- 25.2 % of student entries obtained A*-A, as compared to the UK National Average of 26.3 % this year
- Of the students who have taken three or more A level exams, 12.7 % of these students achieved 3 A*-A
- 45.8 % of students achieved A* - B, while again 53.1 % of their peers in England achieved the same
- The overall pass rate at Cambridge International was 98.8 %, 73.6 % of entries graded A*-C

- 42% of all subject results were A*-A which was higher than the national average
- 76% of students achieved 5 x A* - C’s in their IGCSE examinations as compared to the UK national average of 68.8%
- 37% of students received 5 or more A*-A results, while 11% of students scored 8 or more A*’s
AS Level
- 37% of all subject results were A -B
- 25% of students received 3 or more A -B
A Level
- 37% of all subject results were A’s, placing us equal to the top 300 independent schools in the UK.
- 16% of Year 13 students scored 3 or more A* -A
2013-2014 Results:
IGCSE
- 38% of all subject results were A*-A as compared to the UK national average of 21.3%
- 76.4% of students achieved 5 x A* - C’s in their IGCSE examinations as compared to the UK national average of 68.8%
- 28% of students received 5 or more A*-A results, while 11% of students scored 8 or more A*’s
AS Level
- 48% of all subject results were A*-B as compared to the UK national average of 40%
- 15% of students received 3 or more A’s
A Level
- 29% of all subject results were A’s, placing us equal to the top 300 independent schools in the UK.
