Mario Elmir

During my eight years at CIS, I have prospered and grown as a person, as a student, and as a member of my community, which leaves me honoured to take on the role of deputy head of secondary. This drives my vision. A vision that aims to create a strong impact that will elevate our CIS community to thrive. Aiding the formulation of this vision are my experiences while being a student, which have established stepping stones for my future of leadership, an ever-evolving passion for change. Change that truly transforms everyone’s lives to the better. Standing in this position will enable me to consistently implement my vision for a prosperous CIS student body, in the hopes of helping our school progress to new heights. I aim to target students’ mental health and well-being, academics, passions, as well as extra-curricular activities, in order to make everyone feel united, and truly improve our school on a holistic level. Plus, I will not only communicate with the secondary student body, but also with teachers, parents and the senior leadership team, in putting forth necessary developments to ensure that our school motto of exceeding expectations is not just words. I look forward to being an active part of the CIS SSLT in the year 2023-24!
