Chanya Dissanayake
Head of Primary
I have been a member of the CIS community since year 4, therefore, a large amount of my values, morals and beliefs have been formed here at CIS. I, Chanya Dissanayake, am beyond honoured to be the head of primary for the academic year 2023-2024, and I hope to have a meaningful impact on the CIS community. As the primary department develops, I plan to use my position to help improve the school lives of both the teachers and students. Going into this academic year filled with optimism, I want to create new events and initiatives that will help enhance the students skills and talents, and find solutions to any issues that I come across. I hope that by the end of the school year, the SSLT as a whole can proudly look back on the impact we made as a team - and as individuals.
